1. Who We Are

TabMind ("we," "our," or "us") is a Chrome browser extension that helps you organize and manage your browser tabs. Our website is tabmind.net.

2. What Data We Collect

TabMind collects no personal data by default. All extension data is stored locally in your browser using Chrome's storage.local API and never transmitted to our servers.

Data stored locally in your browser includes:

• Tab group names, colors, and tab URLs (for the Sleep & Restore feature)
• Notes you attach to tab groups
• Session history of slept groups
• Your OpenAI API key (stored locally, never sent to our servers)
• Your Pro status (synced via ExtensionPay)

3. AI Session Summaries (Pro Feature)

If you are a Pro user and click "Summarize My Session," TabMind sends a list of your open tab titles and domain names (e.g., "github.com", "notion.so") to OpenAI's API to generate a plain-English summary. We do not send full URLs, page content, or any personal information.

This request goes directly from your browser to OpenAI using your own API key. We never see or log the request. OpenAI's privacy policy applies: openai.com/policies/privacy-policy.

4. Payments (Pro Plan)

Payments are processed by ExtensionPay and Stripe. When you upgrade to Pro, your payment information is handled entirely by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers or payment details. ExtensionPay's privacy policy applies: extensionpay.com/privacy.

5. Website Analytics

Our marketing website (tabmind.net) does not use any tracking cookies, analytics tools, or third-party scripts that collect personal data.

We use Formspree to process email signups submitted through our website. By submitting your email, you consent to Formspree storing it. Formspree's privacy policy: formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any third parties for advertising or marketing purposes. We do not use your data for any purpose unrelated to providing the TabMind service. We do not use your data to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes.

7. Data Retention

All extension data is stored in your local browser storage. You can clear it at any time by removing the extension or clearing Chrome's extension storage. We have no ability to access or delete data stored locally in your browser.

8. Children's Privacy

TabMind is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of TabMind after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
